Launch can now be booked via Mercado Libre; model brings 1.5 turbo engine, rich technology package and consolidated rivals aim
The Chinese automaker GAC has started the pre-sale of the GS3 compact SUV in Brazil. The operation takes place through a partnership with Mercado Livre, where interested parties can already reserve the vehicle by paying a down payment of R$ 4 thousand. The price of the model has not yet been disclosed, but the reservation is refunded in case of withdrawal of the purchase after the revelation.
Contrary to other Asian manufacturers that landed in the domestic market prioritizing electrification, GAC will bet on an exclusively combustion model. The strategy aims to compete directly with compact SUVs already established in the taste of the Brazilian consumer.
