Mechanical engineer Zach Sutton, from Detroit, USA, developed a design worthy of the character Victor Frankenstein, if he were a car enthusiast, causing confusion and fits of laughter when they pass by the contraption.

Nicknamed Bak4Bak, it is the junction of a front half of a 1993 Dodge Caravan and the rear of a 1991 Plymouth Voyager, together they become a vehicle capable of traveling in any direction. Inside, it is possible to see burgundy velvet in the Plymouth Voyager part and Dodge gray in the Caravan part.

But the question that intrigues everyone who passes by this vehicle is how it works, and Sutton makes that very clear. The vehicle operates like a typical minivan from the early 1990s, and whenever it’s in motion, there’s someone in the driver’s seat on the other side. There is also the option to lock the rear axle for solo travel, preventing the rear from swaying.

In addition to its drivability, the turning radius and maneuvers require a great harmony between the two drivers. With the Pentastar badge, the vehicle benefits from stiffer rear springs, which are actually front springs, now without the weight of the engine on them, making the steering a little lighter, as well as the coach door-type door system.

Bak4Bak is a legal vehicle for circulation on roads and roads and also has a personalized license plate with its name.
