Without fanfare, automaker changes electric SUV table on official website; model goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,7 seconds and features all-wheel drive.
Ford promoted a silent readjustment in the Brazilian market and reduced the list price of the Mustang Mach-E by R$ 37 thousand. Without any formal announcement by the automaker, the electric SUV started to be offered on the brand’s official website for R$ 449.000. The move seeks to give breath to the model in an increasingly disputed segment, where the sales volume of the utility has been discreet in the face of competition from European brands and the advance of Chinese automakers.

Imported to the country exclusively in its top-of-the-line configuration, the GT Performance, the Mach-E focuses on a restricted niche of consumers who prioritize high performance and the weight of the oval blue badge. The mechanical set justifies the proposal: equipped with two electric motors that guarantee all-wheel drive (eAWD), the vehicle delivers 487 hp 87,7 kgfm. In practice, this translates into an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, placing it in the select group of the fastest electric SUVs officially on sale in Brazil.

To anchor such sportiness, the factory package is robust. The model has MagneRide adaptive suspension, a braking system from the renowned Brembo brand and the Sync 4 multimedia center, highlighted by an imposing 15.5-inch vertical screen. The declared range is 379 kilometers. In case of need for fast recharging (in the CCS2 standard), the manufacturer informs that it is possible to recover up to 99 kilometers of range in a short 10 minutes plugged into the socket.
With the new tag, the model reduces the price distance in relation to direct and indirect rivals, such as the luxurious BMW iX and the Chinese BYD Tan. It remains for the market to see if the one-off discount will be enough to leverage registrations.
