Mercedes-Benz has started sales of the GLE 450d 4Matic in the Brazilian market, now equipped with the AMG Line exterior design package. Priced at R$ 784.900, the luxury SUV combines the diesel engine with an updated technological set for the 2026 line. The new configuration seeks to balance the sporty aesthetics of the brand’s high-performance division with a ride adjustment focused on comfort for long-distance trips.

Hybrid set and diesel efficiency

Under the hood, the model uses a six-cylinder in-line turbodiesel engine, integrated with a 48V mild hybrid system (MHEV). The engine delivers 367 hp and torque of 76,5 kgfm, assisted by the EQ Boost electric motor, which provides an additional 20 hp in resumptions and accelerations. For emission control, the manufacturer uses BlueTec technology, while the 85-liter fuel tank guarantees high autonomy, meeting the profile of the Brazilian consumer who travels long road routes.

Acoustic comfort and air suspension

A relevant technical change in the AMG Line package is the adoption of 21-inch wheels shod with conventional tires, abandoning runflat technology. According to Mercedes-Benz, the choice aims to reduce noise in the cabin and improve impact absorption on irregular roads. The set works in harmony with the Airmatic air suspension, which automatically adjusts the height from the ground and the stiffness of the shock absorbers according to the load and speed of the vehicle.

Inside, the model has the MBUX interface on panoramic screens, four-zone air conditioning and Burmester 3D audio system. The security package includes a 360° camera, adaptive full-LED headlights and an anti-theft system with intelligent collision detection. With a three-year warranty, the GLE 450d positions itself as one of the most complete options in the large diesel SUV segment in the country.
