Pickup gets a feature that monitors the driver in real time and allows you to block the car in unauthorized areas via cell phone, even yielding a discount on insurance
Sales leader in the domestic market for five consecutive years, the Fiat Strada now incorporates telemetry technologies previously restricted to higher segments. The automaker announced the launch of Connect Fiat for the model. The connected services system will be available exclusively in the top-of-the-line versions of the pickup, Ranch and Ultra.

Connect Fiat acts as a remote vehicle management tool. Through an app, the owner can establish strict parameters of use, such as maximum speed limits. If the driver exceeds the stipulated mark, the system sends automatic alerts to the registered cell phone and email.
Another prominent feature is the delimitation of geographical areas, known as digital fence. The user defines on the map the zones allowed for circulation; If the pickup leaves this perimeter, a notification is generated immediately. Monitoring occurs in real time and the platform stores the location history and routes of the last five days, allowing the identification of suspicious stops or unscheduled route deviations.

In addition to inspection, the system focuses on preventive and reactive safety. Connect Fiat offers 24-hour support in emergency situations, such as accidents, mechanical breakdowns or medical problems, connecting the driver directly to Stellantis assistance.

The technology also brings direct financial benefits to the owner. Thanks to a partnership with the tracking company Ituran, the telemetry data and the ease of vehicle recovery make it possible to offer “Connected Insurance”. In this modality, the discount on the policy can reach 25%, depending on the driver’s profile and the package contracted, amortizing part of the truck’s operating costs.
