The Dubai Police fleet, world-famous for its collection of supercars, has just incorporated a Lamborghini Revuelto. The model, which marks the debut of hybrid V12 engines at the Italian manufacturer, received an exclusive customization from the German preparer Mansory and was officially presented during the 1000 Miglia UAE automobile event in the United Arab Emirates.

High-performance electrification

The debut of the Revuelto in the UAE police shows that almost no respectable fleet in the world escapes electrification. The police super sports car maintains the original factory mechanical set, with a 6.5 V12 aspirated engine that works together with three electric propellers to deliver about 1.015 hp of combined power. With this powertrain, the new car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 2.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.

The uniqueness of the unit, however, lies in the work of Mansory’s Middle East division. The Revuelto has been fitted with an aggressive forged carbon fibre aerodynamic kit, which includes prominent diffusers, a huge rear spoiler and new air vents on the bonnet. The look is finished off by the darkened wheels, the traditional white and green paint of the corporation and the giroflex perfectly integrated into the bodywork.

Territorial marketing

Although it has enough specifications to intercept practically any fleeing vehicle, the main purpose of these machines is far from daily patrolling. The luxury vehicles, in fact, run in strategic tourist areas of Dubai and work as a powerful government marketing tool, reinforcing the emirate’s ideal of wealth, security and status.

The new acquisition joins what is considered the most expensive police fleet on the planet. The Lamborghini prepared by Mansory will share space with historical icons such as the Bugatti Veyron hypercar, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the very rare Aston Martin One-77.

Keeping with the tradition of incorporating the main launches of the global automotive industry, the local police also recently added the Ferrari Purosangue SUV and the controversial Tesla Cybertruck pickup to their ranks.
