Promotional action in Porto's workshop network includes diagnosis of lights, battery and fluids; see deadline and how to guarantee service
With the increase in the flow on the roads driven by school vacations, preventive maintenance becomes the main factor for reducing accidents. With an eye on this scenario, Porto launched the “On Vacation with Porto” campaign, an initiative that offers free check-ups of safety items until January 31st.
The action stands out for not being restricted to the insurer’s customer portfolio. Owners of gasoline, ethanol or flex vehicles — whether they are insured or not — can take advantage of the technical diagnosis. To guarantee service, it is necessary to make an appointment in advance at one of the units of the Porto Automotive Centers, a network that operates with specialized technicians.

The focus of the campaign is road safety through the anticipation of mechanical failures. The service includes a careful visual evaluation of components that suffer greater wear and tear on long-distance trips. The free package includes inspection of the braking system (pads and discs), suspension and shock absorbers, as well as the battery charge test.
The revision also covers the complete lighting system – a mandatory item by law and essential for visibility on highways – and the checking of levels and validity of vital fluids, such as engine oil, brake fluid and coolant. Identifying leaks or low levels of these components can prevent everything from engine overheating to total loss of brakes on mountain descents.
In addition to the diagnosis, the company created a policy of incentives for immediate repairs. Drivers who choose to perform services or purchase parts in the authorized network, with a value above R$ 500, receive a courtesy limited to one item per chassis. Options include a fuel injection system cleaning additive or a portable tire repair kit (“seals and inflates”).
Interested parties should consult the complete regulation and check the nearest unit through the official website of Porto.
