Chevrolet has revised the Spark EUV price list in a bid to reverse the electric SUV’s low-key commercial performance since it was launched. After adding only 356 registrations in the first two months of 2026, the automaker applied a direct discount of R$ 15 thousand on the list value of the electric compact, which now costs R$ 154.990.

The move comes at a time of tightening in the entry-level electrified vehicle segment, where Chinese rivals have been dictating the pace of prices. For the direct sales channel and fleet owners, the brand adopted an even more aggressive stance, setting the value at R$ 144,990 — a total discount of R$ 25 thousand compared to the previous list value.

General Motors’ bet is that the factory bonus, added to the capillarity of the dealership network and the promise of low operating costs, will be able to attract both end consumers and companies looking to electrify their fleets. In the first months of the year, the Spark EUV sold only 27% of the volume of the Geely EX2 and 13% of the BYD Dolphin. At home, even the Chevrolet Captiva EV — much more expensive — sold more.

In terms of product, the Spark EUV bets on the size of a compact SUV to differentiate itself in urban traffic. With a length of 4.00 meters and a wheelbase of 2.56 meters, the model offers a space-optimized cabin and a trunk of 355 liters. In terms of safety and technology, the vehicle leaves the factory equipped with six airbags, a multimedia center with wireless mirroring and a driving assistance package (ADAS).

The mechanical set is focused on agility, with a 101 hp front electric motor and torque of 18,4 kgfm. Power comes from a 39 kWh battery. Although the official Inmetro homologation points to a range of 258 km per charge, Chevrolet argues that, in strictly urban use – where the regeneration system acts more frequently – the real autonomy can exceed the 300 km mark.
