New generation Volkswagen Tiguan arrives with new hybrid engine that can have batteries recharged at home
In terms of electric cars, Chinese technology is unbeatable. But Volkswagen decided, unlike its colleagues here in Brazil, to bring its own electric vehicles produced in Germany.
It didn’t work there or here. It is now going slower and decided to bring back to the Brazilian market a model produced in Mexico that worked very well here, the Tiguan, with a great novelty.

It will be the brand’s first plug-in hybrid in Brazil with a 1.5 engine plus the electric one, with a total of 204 horsepower and a battery range of 125 kilometers. As almost no one walks more than that per day, this autonomy means that you can run only electrically for almost your entire life.
