Don’t have the money for the GTI? How about a ‘plan B’?

The top-of-the-line and sporty version of the VW Golf arrived imported, in a small batch and at a high price. How about a Jetta GLI as an alternative?

Volkswagen brought a limited batch of its most famous sports car, the Golf GTI. It has a 2-liter turbo engine with 245 horsepower, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it goes from 0 km/h to 100 km/h per hour in just 6.1 seconds. But it costs R$ 430 thousand. You pay more for exclusivity than for the car.

And I’m going to suggest for those who like a good sports car, the Jetta GLI, which has the same engine with 231 horsepower, only 14 less than the Golf, the same seven-speed gearbox and the 0 km/h to 100 km/h instead of 6.1, 6.6 seconds.

But as it comes from Mexico and not Germany, it costs only R$ 270 thousand, R$ 160 thousand less than the GTI. And it still has the bonus trunk.
