Many people forget to respond to recall calls issued by manufacturers, but the DMV is keeping an eye on negligence and will block the issuance of the CRLV
What is a recall? This term is used when the factory notices a defect during the production of the car, which involves the safety or health of the car’s occupants and is obliged to call the cars back to the dealership through advertising for free repair.

When the factory makes the recall, it communicates to the government and the State Traffic Department (Detran), which records in the car’s record that it has been called for a recall.
This notification is only eliminated after the car is taken to the dealership to solve the problem. If the owner does not comply, the DMV does not issue the certificate that allows it to circulate or for the car to be sold.
