Chery launched the Tiggo 5X hybrid in China, with a 96-horsepower combustion engine, plus a 204-horsepower electric one.

According to the factory, with a charged battery and a gas tank, it is capable of reaching a range of 1000 km. It is a hybrid system that Chery itself calls CSH, or Chery Super Hybrid. This Tiggo 5X is like a poor cousin of the Omoda 5, which is also from Chery.
The Tiggo line is produced and sold in Brazil by Caoa, which has already exhibited hybrid models at the last Motor Show and announced that they would be in Brazil in the second half of this year.
