In addition to SUVs, another fierce fight in our market is pickup trucks, and the novelty this time comes from Volkswagen. It will be called Tukan, and Volkswagen denies that it will be a replacement for Saveiro, with simple reasoning. Saveiro fights with Strada, Tukan will fight with Toro.

It will be launched later this year as the first hybrid model. And unlike Fiat, it will not have a lithium battery of only 12 volts, but 48 volts. The factory has not yet released details of the Tukan, but it will be a double cab.

And Volkswagen says that each new launch of the brand from Tukan will always have a hybrid version with a flex combustion engine.
